What is it?

A wireless optical smoke detector for the home with two alarms - one local and one to the 24 hour monitoring centre - offering peace of mind and support.

Who is it for?

The smoke detector is suitable for anyone living independently that could be at risk in their home and requires an added level of support and reassurance.

How does it work?

The smoke detector is easily installed onto the ceiling of selected rooms within the home. On detecting smoke, two alarms are activated. An audible alarm sounds within the property and another alarm signal is automatically sent to the Lifeline or other Tunstall telecare enabled system. This immediately raises a call to the 24 hour monitoring centre where an experienced operator will alert the emergency services. Because the process is automatic and immediate, the risk to life and property are reduced

Vibby Fall Detector

The Vibby is a sleek, contemporary and technologically advanced fall detector which can be worn on the wrist or around the neck. It will automatically raise an alert if it senses the user has fallen, and also enables the wearer to easily call for help manually.

The Vibby can give confidence to anyone who is at risk of falling, such as people with limited mobility, older people and people with long-term conditions such as epilepsy, diabetes and Parkinson’s disease.

Features

  • Automatic fall detection alert
  • Additional manual trigger to raise fall alert
  • Vibration and LED light confirmation
  • Easily cancelled alerts to minimise false alarms
  • Waterproof and shock resistant wearable device
  • Hypoallergenic plastic
  • Replaceable battery and auto low battery reporting
  • Compatible with all Tunstall 869MHz systems
  • Plug and play registration and configuration App
  • 50m range from hub

Benefits

Vibby uses advanced technology to provide a range
of benefits to increase wellbeing:

  • Peace of mind for individuals, family members and carers
  • Added confidence for people living independently
  • Quicker response times to attend to serious falls
  • False alarms reduced with automatic cancellation if the wearer gets up within 20 seconds
  • Contact and support with monitoring centre and carers

Property Exit Sensor

The property exit sensor is designed to monitor the safety of people with cognitive impairments who may be prone to leaving their homes for extended periods at inappropriate times of the day or night, putting themselves at risk.

Features and Benefits

  • Transmits on the dedicated European 869MHz social alarm frequency for reliable, future proofed operation
  • Wireless radio technology for flexibility on installations
  • Automatic low battery warning ensuring optimum operation at all times
  • Optional lighting control function to turn on an outside light in order to help prevent the risk of falling
  • Allows the main carer to override pre-set timings, avoiding unnecessary re-occurring calls to the response centre when visiting a client during times
    when the sensor is active
  • Flexible monitoring times that meet individuals needs
  • Automatic alarm function if a door is left open - ensuring user safety at all times

    What is it?

The bogus caller button is a small, discreet, MyAmie alarm trigger which has been pre-programmed with bogus caller functionality and allows the user to raise an alarm if they feel uncomfortable due to a visitor at their door.

    How does it work?

The bogus caller button should be located near the front or back door to allow an alarm call to be easily and discreetly placed to the monitoring centre.

When pressed, the bogus caller button activates a silent call for help to the monitoring centre. The operator can advise the user and listen to and record the call, escalating the situation if required and can provide evidence admissible in court.

    Who is it for?

The bogus caller button is suitable for anyone of any age living independently who may need to raise an alarm to request assistance. The bogus caller button can offer peace of mind and an extra level of support. It can be particularly useful for older, infirm or disabled people, individuals who have recently been discharged from hospital or vulnerable people who could be at risk of crime or domestic abuse

You can decide the format and timing of messages that can be automatically delivered to your relatives or any vulnerable residents.

Timed appropriately, your home hub can remind residents to put on their wristband.

Timed appropriately, your home hub can gently but firmly remind residents to take medication on time.

It's important just to know that there is someone there, ready to talk to you. Isolation can lead to emotional & mental issues. We will make a call via the home hub, to be certain that all is well and take note of any issues.

Our unique check and go service allows you to have the peace of mind that your loved one is up and about ready to face the day ahead.
Using the intelligent programming in the digital home hub, we programme a parameter from 7am-10am (or customisable to your needs), in which your loved one, once up, activates a button on the digital home hub to let the hub know they are up and ok and have 'checked in'. In the event that the home hub does not receive this activation within the set parameter, the home hub initiates a call through to you so you can communicate directly with your loved one to make sure everything is ok. In the event that you are unable to answer the call generated by the home hub, it will automatically fall back to our dedicated 24/7 control centre ensuring the call does not go unanswered and to check everything is ok and no assistance is required.

The Tunstall heat alarm is a wireless, indoor sensor which gives early warning of potential fire in the home and raises an alarm to alert help. The heat alarm is easily fitted onto the ceiling and raises an alarm if the temperature rises to 58°C.

    Features

    • Audible heat detection alarm
    • Automatic alerts to a telecare monitoring centre
    • Simple test button to raise a testing call via the connected Tunstall home unit
    • 10 year (non-replaceable) battery life with low battery warnings – local battery low warning for the user and an automatic low battery alert to the monitoring centre

    Benefits

    • Reduces devastating effects of fire which can include serious or fatal injuries
    • Reduces false alarms caused by smoke detectors
    • Reduces damage caused by fire to property and possessions
    • Guaranteed quality through the BS5446-2: 2003 British Standards Kitemark standard referenced in building regulations

    What is it?

The motion sensor 869 is a Passive infrared (PIR) based sensor which is designed to detect movement in a room and transmit a radio signal to a lifeline home unit or other Tunstall telecare enabled systems. It has been specifi cally designed for care applications where it is important to avoid detecting a user who may be on the fl oor following a fall (fall zone feature). This means that movement is not reported and ensures an inactivity alarm can be generated by the Lifeline home unit or other Tunstall telecare enabled systems.

    Who is it for?

Motion Sensor activity monitoring is ideal for:

    • Anyone currently using a Tunstall system
    • People with medical conditions such as dementia, epilepsy or diabetes

    How does it work?

At the heart of the solution is either a Lifeline home unit or a Tunstall system. The Motion Sensor is designed to sit on the wall within a property. Every 30 seconds the unit reports on the resident’s movement patterns to provide assurance that they are OK.

A police approved keysafe enables easy attendance by professionals in case of a collapse or emergency.
